Getting lost is part of the experience. Santa Cruz, with its narrow streets, hidden courtyards, and the scent of orange blossom, is a neighborhood best strolled slowly. Beyond the Giralda and the Reales Alcázares, quiet plazas, historic corners, and taverns where time seems to stand still await you.
Local plan: Sit in Plaza de Doña Elvira with a coffee and just observe. Sometimes, that's enough to understand Seville.
Forget the supermarket for a day. Visit the Triana Market or the Feria Market, two places where Sevillians buy their fresh produce every day. Listen to the hustle and bustle, taste olives, ask for the best Andalusian cheese, and chat with the vendors. It's a direct and delicious way to connect with the city.

Tapas in Seville isn't just about food: it's a way of life. It's about going from bar to bar, unhurried, trying a tapa at each place and chatting. You can start in the El Arenal area, continue along La Alfalfa, and end on Mateos Gago Street, right next to the Cathedral.
